Israel Art Museum

When I woke up this morning, I had no idea what I would get myself into. I spent a good sum of time in the morning reading, but soon became hungary. After chomping down my crunchy cereal breakfast and gulping down my fresh water, I packed my map, water, and camera. Quickly, I slipped on my trusty pair of hiking shoes and locking the door behind me sealing my first steps of adventure. I was off to explore the western side of Jerusalem.

Who would have know that the Israel Museum lied in the region. In the museum lied the Dead Sea scrolls found nearly 2000 years ago by a team of dedicated archeologists. These scrolls validate the historical account of the Bible. Unfortunately, It is prohibited to photograph inside of the museum, but I was able to take these pictures of my epic adventure:

On the way to the museum, I ran into this ancient looking place.

Oh yes, Mr. Miyagi taught me karate very well.

Ooooooo, nice panoramic shot of the city!

Israel Museum entrance.

Statue of Adam crafted by a French guy.

Shrine of the Book building. Where the Dead Sea Scrolls are.
This is a mini scale of Jerusalem 1/50 the size of real life. Pretty cool.

Replica of the Old City before it was destroyed by the Romans in 70 A.D.

I was so hungary for an apple. I guess it would have been better to wait...

I love shiny!!!

If you squint your eyes and tilt your head a bit, you might see something...just kidding.

This is part of the Art Garden designed by a Japanese American named Isamu Noguchi.

Hmmm... I don't get it.
