Bring it On!

The countdown has begun. With less than two months left on the clock, I have a commercial to shoot/edit/deliver, a final project to start working on, and prepare for Africa... How do you define the term, "busy"? But I've got to look at the bright side. I've been blessed with great room mates, a healthy life, and great learning experiences. I am one stressed boy living a very exciting life in Jerusalem, Israel!

Tomorrow evening production begins. I keep on waking up from nightmares which include forgetting equipment, or getting yelled at by my peers...Kinda sounds like a horror film to me. Great...now I'm even more nervous for tomorrow. Good thing I have my feet grounded and just have to tighten the belt and push through this one.

The clock is telling me it's time to go home...Should I submit? My eyes are telling me yes...

Hi everyone!

I just wanted to give an update on my current status on the Africa trip. So far, I've raised roughly 20% of my support for the mission. I  wanted to ask for your consideration in supporting me. I'll be flying to Kenya, Africa after school and need to have 75% of my funds raised by early next month. I know that I've been called by Him to serve him with media. Without your support, I won't be able to. I need your help, beloved. Please consider being a part of my support team.

Easter Sunrise Update

Easter Sunrise was such a privilege to be a part of. I can't believe that I was camera 4, the camera right next to the tomb! I hope that I will once again be a part of the Sunrise service in Jerusalem, Israel.

Warren's Shaft Water System

The entrance into Warren's Shaft System is an ancient water system named after Captain Charles Warren, who discovered it in 1867. The Gihon Spring, which originates in the valley, is accessed from this location via a subterranean tunnel. This water system is a complex of rock-cut tunnels and associated fortifications, which were constructed to ensure the safe and steady supply of water to the ancient city in times of strife and siege, as well as in times of peace. As the Gihon Spring, Jerusalem's only water source, was located in the valley, outside the city wall, the settlers took special care to fortify it and thus quarried an underground tunnel to allow safely access to it. Africa Update!

April 9, 2012
Hi Everyone!
As many of you already know, I am preparing to go to Kenya, Africa. Why do I want to go to Africa? Because In Matthew 27 verse 19 states, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and , lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.” I believe my Savior is calling me to the ends of the world to document and film what happens there and show the world. I can only do this with your prayers and support. So far, I have raised $300. By May 10 this year, I need to raise $19,651. That means in 31 days, I need to raise $19,351. Do I think God can provide? Absolutely!
Financially, I’ve been eating less to save money for this trip. I’ve budgeted my food bill for my remaining months of school so that I can save as much money possible for when I go to Africa. Last month, I had about $30 left for half of the month. I can’t explain how amazing it was to witness how God provided food for me. I never went super hungry. It was the first time I witnessed how safe it is to trust in God fully. In the same way, I’m totally trusting that He will provide for me and this Gideon challenge of raising support. I’m so confident in the Lord, that I’m giving what I can afford to the beggars out of my budgeted food money. Let me tell you how better is it to give than receive. I forgot to mention that when I had barely any money last month, I was still able to provide meals for my room mates.
I can’t explain how much the Lord is strengthening me. His plans and purposes in your life are so special and important. As my great friend and mentor tells me, just do it...do it now. This is the truth. Just to do the will of the Father and do it now. It will be the best thing and feeling you will ever experience! I pray that the Lord will keep you and bless you all! May his countenance shine upon you and may you reflect the love of the Father and do His will. You can stay updated about my studies, travels, and experience on my blog!

Isn’t the Lord wonderful? He has been guiding and protecting me during my stay in Israel. A number of students and I just finished filming the Easter Sunrise Service at the Garden Tomb! We aired the service on uStream. Just knowing that your work is making a difference in peoples lives is so motivating. My purpose is to serve God with media!

Sorry for the long time it took to get this video up on the web. This is a recap of the Jerusalem Marathon. It was such an awesome experience! Kosta my friend from Israel, and I ran the half marathon in under 2 hours. A half marathon is 21k or just over 13 miles. I was very tired afterwards; however, ice cream made things better.
